JAMB Result Checker 2024: Your Guide to Accessing Your Scores
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) conducts the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) annually to assess candidates seeking admission to tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Once the examination is concluded and results are processed, candidates can access their scores through the JAMB Result Checker Portal.
When Will the Portal Open?
The official date for the 2024 UTME is yet to be announced by JAMB. However, based on previous years’ schedules, the examination typically takes place between April and May, with results released within a few weeks after. The JAMB Result Checker Portal usually opens shortly after the results are released.
How to Access Your Results:
- Visit the JAMB website: Go to the official JAMB website at https://www.jamb.gov.ng/ and navigate to the E-Facility Portal.
- Enter your login details: You will need your JAMB registration number or phone number used during registration.
- Click on “Check UTME Result”: This will display your individual score breakdown for each subject you took in the UTME.
- Print your result slip (optional): You can print your result slip for record-keeping purposes.
Important Information:
- There is no SMS service for checking JAMB results in 2024. All results must be accessed through the E-Facility Portal.
- Accessing your results is free, and you should avoid using third-party websites that claim to offer faster or easier access.
- Keep your JAMB registration number and/or phone number used for registration safe, as you will need them to access your results.
